1. Competition from Himesh Reshammiya’s Damadamm and Tell Me Oh Khudah. Movies like 3 Idiots, Dabangg and Bodyguard had no other movies for competition.
2. Diwali time – People are more busy celebrating the festival rather than seeing movies. Why would they want to see Ra.One when they have crackers to burst.
3. India – England cricket series – The crucial T20 matches meant audience preferred to watch that instead of see the movie.
4. Salman’s conspiracy – Salman made sure Dabangg was shown on TV so people chose to see it over Ra.One. how cruel of Salman.
5. Aamir’s conspiracy – Aamir let the news of his TV show just before Ra.One release. This was unfair on his part.
6. Expectations – Expectations were high from SRK after Blockbusters such as Bhootnath, Dulha Mil Gaya and My Name Is Khan. Audience should have proper expectations from a movie.
7. People just do not understand a great movie. It is all audience fault.
8. Weather — The weather this Diwali was not helpful on films. Some places it rained, some places it was too hot while some places it was too cloudy
