The three Salman Khan
starrers Sultan, Bajrangi Bhaijaan and Prem Ratan Dhan Payo remain the biggest
openers in terms of opening weekend business taking into account all films
released in India. Kabali has the highest NETT collection but in terms of the
amount collected at the box office (GROSS) it is in seventh
place. Below are the top ten weekend grossers in India. The list
includes all films released in India and all figures are GROSS. Also all
languages included for all films.

In terms of
NETT figures Kabali is number one and the other South Indian juggernaut is
in third place split by Sultan due to lower entertainment tax in the South. In
GROSS figures there are a few Hindi films above them. Still as mentioned before
these two South films are doing it outside holiday periods and recording higher
occupancy than the Hindi films.
Sultan the biggest of the
lot just missed the 150 crore GROSS mark when released a few weeks back. The
final Worldwide figures will be updated later where Kabali will come into play
more as it smashed records overseas.
