Salman Sooraj Sath Sath

( This is very exciting for me, if true. Sooraj , in my opinion, is one of the most original and uncompromising talents in the Hindi film industry. He went totally wrong in MPKDH, otherwise I have loved all his films, in varying degree. His HAHK is a classic in my book and a path breaker. I also loved Salman in the film. He should have bee at least nominated for the best actors award , which he was unfairly kept out of. He is the alter-ego of Sooraj and their jodi will be a pleasure to watch.)

It’s official! The Salman-Sooraj rift is finally over. Sooraj Barjatya has found his long lost ‘Prem’ for the actor and has signed him as the lead actor in his next directorial venture.

Salman will now play the lead in another film apart from this one.

Apparently Salman-Sooraj jodi had gone sour after Barjatya’s father Raj Kumar Barjatya had expressed disapproval towards Salman post the blackbuck killing incident.
A close associate to Sooraj told Mumbai Mirror, “Everyone at Rajshri had presumed that Soorajji would never direct another film. Without Salman Soorajji’s heart was just not in it. Salman was the only non-family male member who could move freely in and out of the Rajshri household. The black buck incident changed everything.”

After Hum Saath Saath Hain, Barjatya directed two films, Main Prem Ki Deewani Hoon and Vivah. It is believed that both these films were written keeping Salman in mind. Barjatya reluctantly signed Hrithik Roshan as the lead in Main Prem Ki.. and Shahid in Vivah.

Now after 4 years, Barjatya is directing a movie again and that too with Salman as the lead.

Barjatya’s sister Kavita told the tabloid, “I am not aware what his plans are. But if Soorajji does start a new film it will surely be starring him (Salman). The whole family wants him to return to direction.”

Good days for the box office are not far!
