Salman Khan gets more money for 'Dus Ka Dum 3'

His last release Veer may have tanked at the box office but the folks at Sony Entertainment are banking on Salman Khan to boost the TRPs of their channel with the third season of the game’s show Dus Ka Dum.

And reports have it that the actor will be paid handsomely more than what he was last year. In 2009, as we all know, Salman had slashed his price because of the recession in the industry. Back then he got a pay-cheque of Rs 80 lakh per episode for 25 episodes. This year, he is expected to pocket somewhere between Rs. 1.25 lakh to Rs 1.50 lakh per episode.

Salman’s manager Vikas Kapoor has confirmed that the actor is “definitely being paid more” than the previous two seasons, but he refused to disclose the amount.

The third season is likely to go on air in July this year. Salman says he’s excited about the show. When quizzed if he would like to have Shahrukh Khan as a guest on his show, Salman gave a positive reply and said he would welcome SRK and treat him like any other guest on the show.
