Dabangg 2 has taken a sedate start in itsThird Weekend at the box office. Dabangg 2 collected around 1.7 crore nett all India on3rd Friday at the box office. Dabangg 2 total collection after 15 days is around 146.1crore nett. D2 registered a drop of 15-20% on average across all centers on 3rd Friday from 2nd Thursday.
Collections of 3rd Friday is neither big nor small and is just on par. Collections for 3rd Saturday and 3rd Sunday should be better as weekend jump will be there. How big the jump it is to be seen. A decent third weekend of 7-8 crore nett is expected from Dabangg 2 and anything less than that will be below par. A 3rd weekend of around 10 crore nett will just be the Cherry on the Top for the film, but that is also too much to expect from a third week film. D2 is still ahead of all new releases at the box office and Salman Khan magic may again continue in 3rd week also, hence any number is possible with him on the helm. Let's wait and watch.
