Salman & Asin READY to go on floors

Rachana, Bollywood Trade News Network Salman & Asin, who delighted us with their rocking chemistry in the musical hit LONDON DREAMS, are all set to pair up once again. And this time in the remake of Telugu hit READY, which will be directed by filmmaker Anees Bazmee, who gave us blockbusters like NO ENTRY, WELCOME, SINGH IS KINNG in the past.

Before finalizing Asin, a lot of other B-town actresses were being considered. Infact some reports suggest that Anees was quite keen on signing up Genelia D'souza, who was also a part of the original film, as he thought Genelia would perfectly fit the bill. However Genelia couldn't become its part for reasons best known to the makers and eventually Asin was in.

Now as the cast is finalized, the Hindi version, which is being produced by T-series head honcho - Bhushan Kumar, is all set to go on floors in June 2010. The music of the film will be composed by Pritam.

The Hindi remake is slated to release in June 2011.
